Wollongong Central will be alive with the sound of music these July school holidays! Children aged five and older can dive into the art of creating music in a free 90 minute workshop. They\u2019ll start by learning how to structure a song, then create it with electronic sounds, record, and finally perform their original composition.<\/p>\n
The workshops are led by skilled facilitators from Heaps Decent, a non-profit, music-based arts organisation that gives kids the valuable chance to write, perform, record and produce. No prior musical experience is necessary!<\/p>\n
Curated and produced by aMBUSH Gallery and presented with Heaps Decent and Wollongong Central, the workshops allow kids to have their voices heard. (Please note: a parent or guardian must be in attendance with their child at the workshop).<\/p>\n
Two workshops will be held daily, at 11am-12:30pm and 1pm-2:30pm.<\/p>\n
