Curated and produced by aMBUSH Gallery, and presented in collaboration with Central Park Mall and the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, HUMAN 3.0 includes several dynamic elements. There\u2019s a retrospective of every Mardi Gras poster from the festival\u2019s past, as well as new conceptual designs from some of Australia\u2019s foremost artists. Two very different photographic bodies of work will also feature: Nicholas Contrera\u2019s Extra Ordinary \u2013 Trans Life<\/em> depicting high-profile transgender adults, and Sarah Wong\u2019s sensitive photo series, Inside Out: Portraits of Cross-Gender Children<\/em>, capturing the \u2018inner essence\u2019 of transgender children. Sydney\u2019s artist-run collective, HAARD (Homo Art and Recreation Division), will exhibit diverse works of twelve of their young gay male members.<\/p>\n

Join us<\/a> on Friday 5 February from 6-9pm to celebrate the official opening by Michele Bauer (CEO of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras), with entertainment from Sydney DJ duo L\u2018OASIS. Don\u2019t miss this unique opportunity to learn the history of Australia\u2019s Mardi Gras as a human rights movement, and contribute to progressing the conversation around LGBTQI issues.<\/p>\n
