Located in the epicentre of ANU’s picturesque new Kambri precinct, on the upper floor of the Cultural Centre, you’ll find aMBUSH Gallery’s newest exhibition space, a modern, world-class facility renowned for its focus on innovation and excellence.

Situated above Harry Hartog’s bookstore, this stunning multi-use space doubles as a gallery for medium to large-scale exhibitions, and an events function area, boasting a large outdoor balcony overlooking the precinct, with easy access to both parking and the rest of the Cultural Centre.
The intention for Kambri is to become an inclusive cultural space for local and international artists, and to bring together a diverse range of great artists, thinkers, and makers; an aim that fits perfectly with the aMBUSH Gallery ethos.
Venue hire
With the ability to host educational conferences, curated arts programs, author talks, and a rotating cultural program, aMBUSH Gallery Kambri is the perfect location for your next event.
The main building also contains kitchen facilities to support the hosting of catered functions in aMBUSH Gallery, with an impressive list of preferred caterers to choose from to suit all event requirements and budgets.
Access to the single level, underground car park is available at discounted rates for event packages. The car park includes 392 spaces, elevator access to the Cultural Centre, and two pedestrian access points.
To hire aMBUSH, there will be an associated fee for venue hire and the option to add staff to assist with your event. You are welcome to select any caterer of your choice, and we are happy to provide recommendations upon request.
The venue is set up with audio-visual equipment and facilities such as a projector, vinyl turntable, media player, bar fridge and bathroom that are included in the venue hire fee.
