OPEN UP was a brand new aMBUSH Gallery initiative, that launched in November 2015 in collaboration with cultural precinct Darling Quarter.

OPEN UP is an expertly curated pop-up market place created specifically for the nurturing of local artists and designers with big ideas, presented by Darling Quarter, and curated and produced by aMBUSH Gallery. OPEN UP is located in Darling Quarter’s Civic Connector, which is also home to OPEN, aMBUSH Gallery’s outdoor exhibition space.

Artists, independent galleries, and local objects, homewares and streetwear designers enliven Darling Quarter with their unique and covetable designs, and set the stage for an exciting summer of creativity at the precinct. In keeping with both aMBUSH Gallery and Darling Quarter’s unwavering commitment to the support and proliferation of the arts in Sydney, OPEN UP is free and open to the public.
