This crowd-pleasing exhibition is back for another year of sneaker madness, pushing the limits and boundaries of design. Likeminded artists with a passion for sneaker design showcase illustrations, paintings, and mixed media work (all for sale) based on the ubiquitous street footwear we all know, love, covet and wear.

It’s an epic line up of 44 of some of Sydney’s best artists celebrating community, culture and art. Whether you’re into vintage sneakers or premium kicks, there’ll be something for everyone to admire at this year’s event.

There’ll also be free sneakers and raffles to be won on the opening night thanks to sponsors Solemates Sneakers, Ladyj wüllf, Philm Corp, and Mr Glasses Agency.

Featured artists include: Creatur, Jeremy Jones Lightfoot, Lauren Meltzer, Krispe, Matt Heath, Bohie, Sindy Sinn, Inkhunter, Brooke Krumbeck, SKEL, and Yuri.

Midsöle is presented by aMBUSH Gallery, and curated by founder Ladyj wüllf and creative hub Philm Corp media, who produce the annual skull exhibition ‘KRVNM’. It is sponsored by Solemate Sneakers, one of Australia’s largest independent marketplaces for authentic Air Jordan sneakers and other premium exclusive releases, with drinks thanks to Trolley’d.

Opening night is Thursday, 27 October from 6-9pm at aMBUSH Gallery (4a James Street, Waterloo) with music from special guest DJ Fly Waves.

The exhibition will run from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 October, from 12-4pm and is free of charge to the public.
