International Women’s Day at Aurora Place
Artist Claudia Chinyere Akole helped celebrate and elevate the work of female creatives for International Women's Day 2022 with a live art session at Aurora Place in Sydney’s CBD.
This year’s IWD theme was ‘Break the Bias’ – imagining a gender equal world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive and where difference is valued and celebrated.
Claudia produced a beautiful large-scale drawing using POSCA pens that depicted blue wattle/mimosa flowers in bloom.
This activation was produced by aMBUSH Gallery and presented by Aurora Place with a focus on the importance of empowering and celebrating all women.
