If you love a bit of weird and wonderful expressed in the form of art, then Freaks of Nature – the 2022 edition of the Bein’ Narly Group Show – is for you!

Bein’ Narly is an annual underground arts festival that brings surprise and delight to Sydney audiences, and it’s opening at aMBUSH Gallery Sydney on Thursday 10 March.

Visit aMBUSH Sydney for a family-friendly weekend of diverse art from illustrators, fine artists, painters, photographers, and sculptors.

Depicting broad themes that showcase all the fabulous ways to be a freak of nature, visitors can expect over-the-top colour, outlandish design, and plenty of odd characters.

Curated by Australian multi-disciplinary artist Glenno, and produced and presented by aMBUSH Gallery, this group show features work from over 50 emerging and established Australian artists including Reg Mombassa, Ben Brown, Le Grizz, Maria Pia Mosquera, Lucy Culliton, Lizzie Nagy and many more.

Opening night for the Freaks of Nature is on Thursday 10 March from 6-9pm at aMBUSH Gallery (4a James Street, Waterloo) and features drinks from Young Henrys and music from DJ Jay Katz at the ready with a set of freak-a-phonic hits. The gallery will also be open from noon until 5pm on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 March and all artworks are for sale.
