'Endangered', a thought-provoking art exhibition that confronts the rapid changes affecting our world—be it through bushfires, floods, climate change, or a global pandemic.

Curated by Dr Ruth McDermott and Ben Baxter, the group of artists, architects, academics and makers to respond to the word ‘Endangered’ by creating a piece of visual art in their chosen medium. The exhibition will feature photography, sculpture, installation, textile design, light art and prints aiming to post questions around the word ‘Endangered’.

The exhibition explores how species, traditions, and environments are at risk of disappearing and engage with artworks that pose critical questions about what we must protect. Each piece tells a unique story, connecting personal narratives with broader themes of sustainability and resilience.

‘Endangered’ invites deep reflection on our relationship with nature, culture, and each other, aiming to inspire meaningful action and conversations. Experience a rich tapestry of art that honours what we stand to lose while igniting hope for the future. Join us in contemplating what truly deserves our attention and care.

Opening Night will be held on Thursday, 21st November from 6-9pm, and public viewing from Friday, 22nd to Sunday, 24th November, from 12-4pm.
