Community Service Announcements by Jeremyville was the fourth consecutive pop-up art activation at Lane Four, a public art space in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, The Galeries.
Curated and produced curated by aMBUSH Gallery, this was the first time Community Service Announcements (CSAs) had been exhibited in Australia by Sydney born, New York based artist Jeremyville. The artist handpicked 20 works from his 450 CSAs especially for the Lane Four space. This project was originally launched online and via guerilla street art moments throughout New York, and the CSAs have since been exhibited at art galleries, creative conferences and workshops in Berlin, Oslo, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires and New York. The CSAs explore complex concepts such as self-empowerment, personal growth, love, loss and what it means to be human with touching simplicity. The exhibition continued from May to August 2012.
