OPEN is ever evolving, and dedicated to the embellishment of Sydney’s CBD through the display of free public art. Since its launch in September 2012, OPEN has hosted exhibitions that showcase local talent, working within disciplines ranging from street and fine art to photography. High profile featured artists include Wayne Quilliam, Anthony Lister, Kaffeine, Beastman, Georgia Hill, Adnate, Shannon Crees and many more.

OPEN UP is an initiative launched in 2015 as an expertly curated pop-up market place, created to nurture local artists and designers with big ideas. OPEN UP has featured markets selling apparel, accessories, art, gourmet food, homewares and skincare for occasions such as Christmas and Father’s Day, and for specific demographics including children.

Both initiatives are a product of the collaborative relationship between aMBUSH Gallery and Darling Quarter and are located in the bustling Civic Connector space.
