we, the muse was a multi-media art exhibition that attempted to address and explore concepts of whistleblowing and conspiracy through a uniquely collaborative approach between academic theorist and visual artists. The public three-day exhibition was inspired by the conspiracies of above top secret whistleblowers worldwide, whose claims to knowledge of secret societies, extra-terrestrial races and more are bold enough to make some reconsider what is generally accepted as ‘the truth’. Over the exhibition weekend, Kerry Cassidy – the founder of Project Camelot – gave a talk that uncovered her research into subjects including the Secret Space Program, UFOs, Underground Bases, Super Soldiers, Artificial Intelligence, Time Travel and Surveillance Society. we, the muse featured the work of local and international artists Adnate, Askew One, Awol Monk, Ben Frost, Bird Hat, Brett Chan, Bryan Itch, Ha-Ha, Joseph Crossley, Loveariel, Martin E. Wills, Phibs, Ray Ray, R-J Williams, Sean Morris, Shida, Sprinkles, Will Coles and Zap.
