In June 2012 aMBUSH Gallery celebrated a special night of T-shirt culture with Threadless founder Jake Nickell, who was visiting Sydney for Vivid Ideas Exchange.

This one-off event featured an exhibition of 200 Threadless T-shirts curated by T-World, which featured Threadless art, and renowned Australian illustrator Ben Brown painting a wall mural exclusively for the evening.

The gallery space was plastered with wallpaper made from the pages of the Threadless book, as well as large prints of designs from some Australian and New Zealand Threadless artists including David Creighton-Pester, Dan Elijah, G. Fajardo, Emery Greer, Pascal Hoayek, Aaron Hogg, Yeoh Guan Hong, Simon Massey di Vallazz, Leon Rya, Blair Sayer and Ross Zietz.

The show stopping image was the sculpture-like hanging of hundreds of Threadless tees from the ceiling in perfect colour coded formation.
