Explore and celebrate the wonder that is the Australian landscape through the eyes of over two dozen artists in Sun It Rises – the new blockbuster group exhibition set to wrap up a huge year at aMBUSH Gallery.

Through a diverse range of works and mediums, the 26 emerging and established artists tell awe-inspiring stories of connection to the land through drawings, mixed media, paintings, photography, sculpture, and more.

The art on display has been created by Enzo Amato, Liam Ambrose, Oliver James Cascade, Claudia Carroll, Laura Clement, Jade Court-Gold, David Cragg, Daniel French-Wollen, Lauren Guymer, Mark Chester Harding, James Kelly, Alex Latham, Bronte Leighton-Dore, James Lesjak-Atton, Mapcobo, Isaiah Merkwood, Anna Mould, Simon Mould, Daniel O’Toole, Scott Owen, Helen Proctor, Victor Shergill, Kansas Smeaton, Neil Tomkins, Zak Tilley and Bianca Yrure.

Sun It Rises is curated by Jordan Walters and presented by aMBUSH Gallery, with the opening night event on Thursday 28 November from 6-9pm at aMBUSH Gallery (4a James Street, Waterloo), with complimentary drinks provided by Capital Brewing and DJ tunes from Jhassic.

Come and rediscover how unique and essential the mingling of the natural world and the human spirit is, as expressed through art. The show will be open daily and free of charge to the public from Friday 29 November to Sunday 1 December, from 12-4pm.
