During Sydney Craft Beer Week in October 2013, aMBUSH Gallery and Little Creatures collaborated on Handmade – a one-night event and three-day exhibition celebrating artisanal craftsmanship and bespoke design.

Handmade was a weekend renaissance of hand-crafted art and design featuring tattoo design by Sprinkles, floral installation by Flourish, found-object sculpture by Jane Gillings, live screen-printing by HIT+RUN Australia, sign-writing works by Numskull and two live music sets by Pilarties and Bad Jeep. Throughout opening night, visitors interacted with the custom-built Handmade installation, created by design group Nowhere Famous, that turned the disappointment of an empty beer bottle into the delight of a playful partnership. HIT+RUN Australia collaborated with six artists including Ben Brown, Marcus Dixon, Cryptik and Travis Price to produce 200 custom one-of-a-kind tees free. Handmade was a unique exhibition allowing viewers of all ages to explore the concepts of authenticity and nostalgia with a custom-made edge.
