The Anzacs of Greece was an outdoor public art exhibition in Sydney’s George Street, produced and presented in collaboration with Transport for New South Wales for the 75th Anniversary of the Commemoration of The Battle of Crete and the Greek Campaign. The exhibition featured powerful and original photographs from the Australian War Memorial. The exhibition launched on Saturday 16 April in time for the Remembrance Service and Wreath Laying Ceremony in Martin Place conducted by the Joint Committee President James Jordan, Secretary Nick Andriotakis and Chief Marshall Matt Walsh JP MLO ALGA CPS ADM ANSM – all in the presence of the Greek Presidential Guard. “Lest We Forget”.
